Our largest project to date and without a doubt our most challenging, Lukimbi Safari Lodge is situated in the 15000 HA Luakahle Concession within the Kruger National Park. Not only did the project require the construction of a 5* luxury lodge totaling 6000m under roof, but with this being pristine bush we also had to develop all the underlying infrastructure including roads, water supply, sewerage processing, electrical supply, staff village etc.
The lodge has 32 beds in 14 luxury suites and 2 luxury suites, a chapel, Mali style boma, an award winning wine cellar, spa treatment centre, conference centre and a large central area containing the restaurant, reception, curio shop, library and gym. To ensure privacy and uninterrupted views over the African bush the suites are spread out along the Luakahle river and connected by over 1.2km of elevated timber decking.
