Its been a successful year for us at Lumal in which we have established a strong presence within Waterfall Country Estate & Village. To celebrate this and to thank all the people who have contributed to this success we held a Christmas braai at Carl’s house at Waterfall. Its still under construction, completion due March, but the 1.5m braai made it the perfect venue to cook for 70 construction worker sized appetites.
There were a number of special contributions recognised and our two stars for 2012 are:
- Jan Speelman – Bricklaying
- Paul Macicame -Tiling
Their contributions go far beyond their specific roles and having leaders like Paul and Jan on the team really makes our jobs so much easier as they keep everything running while we move between sites. Well done guys!!
Lesson from the day
If you are in any doubt about the size of the braai to install in your house, we used a 1.5m Homefires wood braai and cooking for 70 was not a challenge. A 1.2m built in braai should work for all but the biggest parties.
